Freespell 4.1 is as its name say a freeware, spell checker for any windows program. This little application will be one of your best friends when you encounter yourself redacting any kind of script, letter, recommendation or what ever you write in your computer.
Freespell 4.1 works over a DOS so you could make it function on any windows.It also has a Linux version. Once you have installed the software, the operation of it is really simple: The first window that will appear will and explain to you what the program is about, but the next windows will let you decide which combination of keystrokes will be needed so the program could start checking.
The downside of Freespell 4.1 is that because of its anatomy, it will only check selected text. This is how simple this program is.
Freespell 4.1's company HCI has another great product which could replace this program. When you download Freespell 4.1 a copy of ProSpell is included for you to try it. This is a better program but costs only $10. |
